The Mono River Basin Authority (MBA) is convening the third meeting of the Regional Steering Committee (RSC) of the RIWE-Mono Project on 29–30 October 2025 at the Novela Star Hotel in Lomé, Togo. This strategic gathering aims to review the implementation of the Annual Work Plan and Budget (AWPB 1), validate AWPB 2, and formulate recommendations for the smooth execution of the project.
GWP-Med in partnership with the Palestinian Water Authority (PWA) led activities in Palestine for the GWL Programme, a global initiative supporting emerging leadership for improved water, sanitation and hygiene services, and climate resilience. GWP Africa coordinator Mr. Alex SIMALABWI signed on April 25 2024 the USD$ 6 million grant agreement for the AU-AIP GCF Readiness project to develop AIP national climate resilience water investment plans across 15 African Countries. More African countries are expected to be included.
