In Ukraine, lack of permanent access to clean drinking water is an important environmental, as well as a health issue, which is one of the most water deficient countries in Europe with less then 1,000 m3 per capita per year.
Global Water Partnership West Africa (GWP / WA) and a number of partners will launch a "regional dialogue on joint management of groundwater resources of West Africa" .

The 6th World Water Forum. On 15th March there was conducted special Session “Input of Central Asia to the World Water Progress”, which was supported by GWP CACENA as co-organizer.
Besides the core activities of GWP Eastern Africa Secretariat, we are conducting several projects and programs at regional, national and local levels. One of these programs is Water, Climate Development Program being implemented in the Nile Basin (regiona), Rwanda and Burundi (National) and Bugesera (local) levels.
The partners of the water sector in West Africa agreed to establish among themselves, the GlobalWater Partnership of West Africa, in English "GWP / West Africa" and whose official abbreviation is "GWP / WA", and GWP West Africa, "GWP AO" in French. GWP-WA is the regional branch of the Global Water Partnership (GWP)
Water resources in the CEE region are important for the development of its countries, providing water for consumption, sanitation, irrigation, industrial use, navigation, fishing, recreation, and other purposes.
