Launching the Climate Smart-Green Growth Strategy and Investment Plan for Sri Lanka and project closing ceremony of the NDA Readiness Project 2021 was held on 28 March 2025.
Bamako, December 16, 2025 – The conference hall of the National Directorate of Hydraulics (DNH) hosted today the official launch ceremony of the flood forecasting and early warning platform in the commune of Koula, along with the handover of technical equipment designed to strengthen local monitoring capacities.
Following Mali and Benin, Côte d'Ivoire has established its National Coordination of Users of Natural Resources in the Volta Basin (CNU). The event took place on 25 July 2025 at the end of a national workshop held in Bouna in the Bounkani region within the national portion of the basin in Côte d'Ivoire.
“I am glad that within this short period, I was able to harvest more than 50 kilograms of cassava from the plot allocated to me which I shared with my fellow farmer families and sold the rest in the village market. I especially thank GWP Sri Lanka/SLWP for being with us from the beginning and supporting us in finding planting materials and training us on water efficient home gardening”.
From July 8 to 13, 2025, a five-day study tour to Western Georgia was organized for a Turkmen delegation comprising government officials, biodiversity experts, and representatives from environmental NGOs.
