GWPO Working in Virtual Environments (WiVE) team is coordinating a series of five training sessions in May and June, with the objective of enhancing our skills in facilitation in virtual environments. The sessions are optional and open to all global and regional GWP staff.
The government of Senegal is looking to find a more sustainable response to flood governance, with the support of the French Development Agency (AFD) and the Green Climate Fund (GCF) has developed the Integrated Flood Management Project in Senegal (PGIIS), which is based on a scientific and institutional approach to urban flood management at the local and national levels, which goes beyond and national scale that goes beyond the construction of infrastructure.

Cairo Water Week (CWW) is an annual event organised by the Egyptian Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation in collaboration with national, regional and international partners, including GWP Mediterranean. The 4th edition of CWW takes place on 24-28 October under the theme “Water, Population and Global Changes: Challenges and Opportunities”. The event will be arranged in a hybrid style, with some in person sessions in Cairo, Egypt, and some online.
El Fondo Verde del Clima (FVC) es el único órgano de los mecanismos de financiación de la Convención Marco de Naciones Unidas para el Cambio Climático (CMNUCC) que se dedica exclusivamente a abordar la crisis climática. El FVC tiene el mandato específico de promover un desarrollo impulsado por el país, resiliente al clima y bajo en carbono. Se espera que este se convierta en el principal canal a través del cual fluirá la financiación pública internacional para el clima a lo largo del tiempo.
