Jakarta, Indonesia | September 13, 2025 - At Water Indonesia 2025, the Indonesian Water Association (IdWA) and the Global Water Partnership Southeast Asia (GWP SEA) gathered experts to discuss how Indonesia can move from water scarcity to sustainable solutions.

Sierra Leone has officially launched a national workshop aimed at developing the country’s Climate Resilient Water Investment Programme (CRWIP) and strengthening institutional capacities for mobilizing climate finance, particularly through the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The workshop is jointly organized by the Global Water Partnership Southern Africa (GWPSA), the National Designated Authority (NDA), and the Ministry of Water and Sanitation.
Online, Indonesia | 3 September 2025 – The Global Water Partnership Southeast Asia (GWP-SEA) and the Indonesian Water Association (IdWA) successfully convened a webinar on “Water Security for Indonesia: From Scarcity to Solutions” as part of the Road to Water Indonesia 2025.
Cameroon’s Vision 2025 was set to achieve 75% access to safe water for all. With the country’s new 2020–2030 national development strategy (SND30), authorities have set a higher objective of 100% water access in urban areas and 85% coverage in rural zones by 2030. The National Water Policy provides a strategic plan on how to achieve this.
