In July 2020, a webinar series will be held on “Coordinating, Implementing, and Financing National Climate and Water Policy Frameworks”. It has been developed by Cap-Net, UNDP, Global Water Partnership, AGWA, SIWI, and the Water Governance Facility. The webinars will highlight and contribute to strengthening climate and water linkages in national frameworks such as NDCs, NAPs, and various investment mechanisms.

To mark World Toilet Day 2020, we asked him to share an experience from his previous role within the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector. The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) is convening its working group on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) and working group on Monitoring and Assessment under the Water Convention in a meeting on 26-28 April.

On 20 December 2021, the Malawi Ministry of Forestry and Natural Resources, in collaboration with the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Water Division, the Global Water Partnership-Southern Africa (GWPSA) and the Malawi Water Partnership convened the Malawi Water, Energy and Food (WEF) Nexus Dialogue to discuss the WEF Nexus concept in the Malawi context and highlight its potential in reducing poverty, enhancing climate change adaptation, and spurring social-economic development in the country.
