The Commission of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) organized, from October 25 to 27, 2023, by videoconference, the validation workshop of the report of the prospective study on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to water and sanitation and the Common Environmental Improvement Policy (PCAE).

Held from 2–17 August 2025 in Bali, Indonesia, the event combined knowledge exchange, teamwork, and innovation to address pressing issues such as wastewater treatment, sustainable land use, and circular economy approaches.
