In celebration of this year's World Water Day theme "Water for Peace", GWP-Med, Horizon2020 REXUS Communication & Dissemination leader, explains the 3 ‘steps’ that are key to turning water into an opportunity for collaboration rather than conflict, and how REXUS is addressing them.
The Asia Pacific Water Scarcity Programme (WSP) has been implementing core activities in Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam over the past year. FAO is bringing together all technical stakeholders involved in the WSP for a Regional Technical Workshop on Water Scarcity to take stock of progress, review the WSP approach, and gain stakeholder insights on the best ‘way forward.’

The updating of the Communication Strategy together with the Action Plan 2018-2020 of the Volta Basin Authority (VBA), has been integrated into the Implementation Plan of the Project "Reversing the Trends of Ecosystem and Water Resources Degradation in the Volta Basin (REWarD - Volta River Basin)", financed by the GEF and executed by the VBA and GWP-WA in close collaboration with UNEP and IUCN.
