Putrajaya, Malaysia | June 3, 2025 – Malaysia hosted a landmark regional workshop titled “From the Source to the Sea: Operationalising the 2040 Agenda” at the Zenith Hotel in Putrajaya.
Last week, GWP – the only intergovernmental organisation solely focused on water – participated in a wide range of high-level and influential dialogues at the 10th World Water Forum, the world’s largest multi-stakeholder water conference, held once every three years.

From 6 to 8 May 2025 in Cotonou, Benin, around forty participants are taking part in a regional workshop to train stakeholders on the Knowledge Base of the Decision Support Tool (DST) for the sustainable planning and management of water resources in the Volta Basin.
At the recent High-Level Forum for Ministers with responsibility for Water (HLF-Water) held in Guyana, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Caribbean Development Bank provided feedback to Ministers and heads of utilities on progress towards establishing the Caribbean Water Utilities Insurance Collective (CWUIC).
