On 2 April 2025, the first of a series of webinars under the DANURELY-WS (Danube Youth Leadership for Water Security) project took place. The event brought together regional water and legal experts to assess progress on SDG Target 6.5, with a focus on integrated water resources management (IWRM) and transboundary cooperation
On 12-13 December 2022, a regional workshop was held on the theme: "Increasing investments for water security and climate resilience in West Africa: achievements, challenges and opportunities". The regional event was both face-to-face and online for stakeholders from the regional level and other West African countries.
FAO for Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific has led the implementation of Water Scarcity Program in several countries in Asia. Among the country that has already implemented or will be implemented in the region of Southeast Asia is in Indonesia and Thailand.
