The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) hosted a National Stakeholder Consultation in Trinidad, on April 16th, 2014 which formed part of a global consultation exercise to get country level feedback from twenty-six (26) countries on proposals for a dedicated Water Goal in the United Nations (UN) Post-2015 Development Agenda.
On the eve of International Women's Day March 8 GWP CACENA has interviewed women successfully working in the water sector in CACENA region to know how to overcome obstacles they face as women, and also what they would like to recommend to other women.

The Global Water Partnership Southern Africa has been a collaborating partner in the National Adaptation Plan – Global Support Programme (NAP-GSP) process through association with the Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP). The consulting partner meeting brought together the chairs of the 4 country water partnerships of Cameroon, Central African Republic, Sao Tomé and Principe as well as the acting chair of GWP-CAf Technical Committee, GWPO network officer for central Africa, representatives of basin organizations like International commission for Congo-Oubangui-Sangha basin (CICOS), the Lake Chad Basin Commission, and the representatives of civil society organizations.
