The CWP Niger has coordinated with the consultants to send data in the framework of the Mékrou Project and tackling some burning issues in relation with data collection in the country.

GWPSA’s technical team participated at the World Water Week in Stockholm from 28^th August – 2^nd September, 2016. Under the theme, Water for Sustainable Growth, the team participated in a number of sessions contributing to the solutions to the most pressing water-related challenges of today. On 16 January 2018, India Water Partnership (IWP) in collaboration with TARU Leading Edge kick-started constructing rainwater harvesting (RWH) tanks with a demo project, at the Senior Secondary Government School in Village Garhi Harsaru, Gurgaon.

The Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) is an initiative of The African Union (AU) Heads of States and Governments borne out of a declaration to improve water and human security. It is a three year programme being implemented in 8 African countries and 5 river basins including the White Volta Basin in Ghana. The project aims to promote water security and climate resilience development as a key component of socio-economic transformation of the people by strengthening decision making processes while ensuring coherence at all levels. As part of the project implementation process, a Field demonstration project is being implemented in the Upper East Region in the White Volta Basin.

Global Water Partnership – Mediterranean (GWP – Med), as legally and lawfully represented by the civil non-profit society “MEDITERRANEAN INFORMATION OFFICE FOR ENVIRONMENT, CULTURE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT – MIO-ECSDE” intends to process a call for quotations for “The rehabilitation and maintenance of the stormwater reservoir at the Presidential Palace in Malta” within the framework of the programme “Climate Change Adaptation through Non Conventional Water Resources Management in North Mediterranean Programme (Alter Aqua)”
