Putrajaya, Malaysia | June 3, 2025 – Malaysia hosted a landmark regional workshop titled “From the Source to the Sea: Operationalising the 2040 Agenda” at the Zenith Hotel in Putrajaya.
From September 29 to October 1, 2025, the Hôtel Pélican in Lomé hosted a pivotal regional validation workshop for the "Regional Initiative for Water and Environment in the Transboundary Mono River Basin (RIWE-Mono)", funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF).
The Volta Basin Authority (VBA) in collaboration with the Global Water Partnership in West Africa (GWP-WA) organise a regional workshop to accelerate the implementation of the activities of the project ‘Reversing Water and Ecosystem Degradation in the Volta Basin’ or REWarD - Volta River Basin. This workshop takes place from 14 to 17 January 2025 in Lomé, Togo.
The 26th WaterNet/WARFSA/GWPSA Symposium will take place on 29-31 October 2025, hosted in a hybrid format coordinated from Ciela Resort, Lusaka, Zambia. The training which preceded the AU-AIP Water Investment Summit, took place from 11 to 12 August 2025 in Cape Town, South Africa.
