Koula, Mali – December 2025
As part of the project “Real-time Flood Risk Mapping” financed by the Adaptation Fund through the AFCIA program, two automatic multi-parameter stations were successfully installed in the rural commune of Koula from December 18 to 22, 2025.
GWP-WA is searching the expertise of a Communication Agency to carry out the mission entitled “Development of communication materials on tools, policies and plans related to the profile, the EWS VoltAlarm and the regional strategy for the RIMFDR in the VB issued from the VFDM project and other related documents on the project website".
These terms of reference present the objectives, the expected results as well as the mandate of the Communication Agency, the expected deliverables, and the methodological approach to carry out the mission.
UNCCD COP16 is set to be the largest conference in the Convention's history, with high expectations for impactful outcomes, particularly in addressing drought. The Regional Partners Technical Workshop for the preparation of the Initial Concept Note of the Regional Investment Project for Water Security and Climate Resilience in West Africa (AIP - ECOWAS) for the Green Climate Fund (GCF) was held from 17 to 20 September 2024 in Ouagadougou.
For all Central Asian countries, the rational use of water and land resources remains among the most pressing priorities in adapting to climate change. As climate change in Central Asia advances at nearly twice the global average rate, there is an urgent need to intensify the exchange of experience among specialists across the region. Particular emphasis is placed on fostering communication and collaboration between experts from Innovation Centers and Techno Parks, which are recognized as the vanguard of scientific contributions to business acceleration.
