The Tanzania Consultative Meeting on Water in the Post-2015 Agenda convened from 26 – 27 March 2013 at Ubungo Plaza in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It was co-led by the Tanzania Country Water Partnership.

GWP India is reviewing the state water policies of Goa and Tamil Nadu in 2015, with the support of the Institute for Resource Management and Economic Development (IRMED). This is part of the process of implementing India’s 2012 National Water Policy.

GWP-WA has implemented and developed a number of programs with the support of Global Water Partnership (GWP) and other technical and financial partners.

The Global Water Partnership (GWP) has sponsorship available for eligible participants to complete the online course in Integrated and Adaptive Water Resources Planning, Management and Governance offered by McGill University’s Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

GWP Chair Dr. Ursula Schaefer-Preuss gave the introductory keynote to the Second Mekong River Commission Summit and International Conference in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 2 April. She presented some key elements related to the Post-2015 Development Agenda, stressing the need for a dedicated water goal in an ever-changing world.

Communicatorsfrom the GWP regional offices are undergoing 4 days training in designing communication and knowledge management strategies in Slovakia’s capital, Bratislava from 9-13^th December 2013.

Water Integrity Capacity Building for the Middle East and North Africa region was a four year (2014-2017) regional programme implemented by Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) in collaboration with GWP-Med and other regional and local partners.
