The American Water Resources Association (AWRA) is holding is annual water resources conference in Portland, Oregon, USA on 5-9 November.

GWP Mediterranean is co-organising a Webinar on Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus in Practice – "Technical Solutions in the Mediterranean : Experience and Opportunities" on 21 July.

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) together with a broad range of partners - including GWP - launched the Global Framework for Action to Cope with Water Scarcity in Agriculture in the Context of Climate Change during the Agriculture Action Day of COP22 in Marrakech, Morocco. In April the Partners meet in Rome.

The Zambezi Watercourse Commission (ZAMCOM) and its stakeholders have continued efforts to improve the management of the Zambezi River Basin. A recent activity was an inaugural stakeholder consultation in collaboration with government agencies, academia, other RBOs, and local representatives, which ZAMCOM organised in Windhoek, Namibia from 27-28 September, 2016. The consultation was held under the theme “Enhancing Transboundary Cooperation through Stakeholder Engagement in the Zambezi Basin”. 

The SDG 6 IWRM Support Programme (SDG 6-SP) assists governments in designing and implementing country-led responses to SDG indicator 6.5.1—the degree of implementation of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM)—as an entry point to accelerate progress towards the achievement of water-related SDGs and other development goals, in line with national priorities.
