At the invitation of ECCAS, a meeting was held between the ECCAS Department of Environment, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Rural Development (DERNADR) and GWP-Central Africa at the ECCAS headquarters in Libreville, Gabon in December 2022.

The extraordinary meeting of the members of the Steering Committee (SC) of Global Water Partnership West Africa (GWP-WA) held on Thursday, February 9, 2023.
The session coordinated by GWP-WA was held on Thursday 23 May 2024 at the Senegal Pavilion during the World Water Forum in Bali, Indonesia. Facilitated by the GWP-WA Chair, Mr Abdoulaye SENE, it featured the distinguished visits of the Senegalese Minister for Water and Sanitation, Dr Cheick Tidiane DIEYE, and the Executive Secretary/CEO of GWPO, Mr Alan ATKISSOON.
