The participants made a field trip which took them to the Tanguiéta town hall for exchanges with the mayor, Mr. BOUKARY Zakari, the different beneficiary communities of the TFTC 2 and WACDEP-G projects, the handing over of materials and equipment and a visit to some of the youth and women's action sites in the framework of the project.
The Global Water Partnership Southern Africa Board has announced the appointment of Mr. Andrew Takawira as the Interim Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer. The appointment is effective 1 February 2025.
The Volta Flood and Drought Management (VFDM) project is drawing to a close after four (04) years of implementing activities in the six (06) countries of the basin. The discussion aimed to share information on the successes and the challenges of safe WASH in Indonesia, notably where these efforts connect to micro-credit, shared ideas and solutions to successfully scale up WASH and WASH micro-credit and discussed the potential to build PPP collaboration to achieve safe WASH in Indonesia by 2030.
