One of the ways the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) commemorated World Water Day (WWD) 2014 which was observed on March 22^nd, was through its first-ever WWD Facebook Photo Competition.

GWP's global secretariat in Stockholm, Sweden, is moving premises. As of 31 March 2014 GWP resides at Linnégatan 87 D, still in central Stockholm.

GWP is calling on Young Professionals in fields related to water management and development, who wish to enhance their professional capacity to express their interest in promoting youth and water engagement through the WACDEP country and regional programmes.

The Round Table “Consultations on Improving Water Resources Management aiming to Water Security in Uzbekistan for 2014-2020” was held on 12 March 2014 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The Global Water Partnership (GWP) announced the launch of its new 2014-2019 global strategy today.

The growing interconnectedness of gender, water, and sustainable development demand that we do more to ensure greater gender equity in all our efforts to properly safeguard and manage water resources for future generations.

GWP is at the forefront of helping countries to prepare and take full ownership of their plans for integrating water resources and services. Our support moves beyond planning and into practice.

Registration is now open for the 1st African Water Integrity Summit in Lusaka, Zambia. The summit is co-hosted by UNDP-Water Governance Facility, The Water Integrity Network, UNDP/Cap-Net, WaterNet and Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI). - Register now!

The Zambian Government and numerous stakeholders have attached great importance to the water agenda as evidenced in its participation in the SDG Consultation on Water held on 5^th March 2014 at Cresta Golfview Hotel, Lusaka, Zambia.
