Malaysia is required to report on its progress toward achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to the United Nations (UN). Sierra Leone has officially launched a national workshop aimed at developing the country’s Climate Resilient Water Investment Programme (CRWIP) and strengthening institutional capacities for mobilizing climate finance, particularly through the Green Climate Fund (GCF). The workshop is jointly organized by the Global Water Partnership Southern Africa (GWPSA), the National Designated Authority (NDA), and the Ministry of Water and Sanitation.
Five nominated Direct Access Entities (DAEs) in Malawi have been trained in pathways to GCF accreditation, accreditation requirements, the Accreditation portal and documentation, post-accreditation operationalisation, and fiduciary standards.
Between December 2025 and January 2026, Global Water Partnership Hungary (GWP Hungary) actively contributed to national and international water governance processes, with a strong focus on youth engagement and regional cooperation in the Danube River Basin.
