New geopolitics of land and water call for a more strategic, governance-level response in which land and water are reconnected, and the political dimension of how they are allocated and used are fully recognised. Experts to Work as “One GWP”

An expanded GWP Technical Committee (TEC) meeting took place 29-30 August in Stockholm, bringing together 35 participants and experts selected by the GWP regional partnerships. GWP Executive Secretary Dr. Ania Grobicki encouraged the participants to work as “One GWP”.

Supporting the LDCs on climate change adaptation

As climate negotiators meet in Bonn, GWP South Asia Regional Council Member from Nepal Batu Uprety says the mandate of the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) Expert Group must be renewed at COP21 to continue to support the LDCs on climate change adaptation.
