The Fourth Yangtze River Forum, jointly initiated by GWP China and some other organizations, was organized by the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province, Yangtze River Conservancy Commission of Ministry of Water Resources on April 18 to 19, 2011 in Nanjing, China.
The annual training course of liaison officers who are responsible for foreign affairs, and overseas visits, organized by the Department of International Cooperation, Science and Technology, Ministry of Water Resources, was taken place on August 18 and 19, 2010, Hefei, the capital city of Anhui Province.

Participants at the High-Level Roundtable on Water Resources Management System Development in China, organised in April 2012 by GWP China, discussed the setting up of a water resources management system with well-defined duties, rights and responsibilities, standard and collaborative operations, and coordination mechanisms for river basin and regional development, using the IWRM approach.
This package includes six DVDs containing videos and learning material on several water related themes. It was produced by the Water Channel and supported by GWP and other agencies.
Recently the GWP ToolBox, a free online database for those interested in better water management, has been improved with a number of new features and resources.
During COP 17, the UNFCCC issued a decision requesting the UNFCCC's Secretariat to organise a Technical Workshop on water and climate change adaptation before COP 18 (December 2012).
