Bamako, December 15, 2025 – The conference hall of the National Directorate of Hydraulics (DNH) hosted on Monday the capacity-building workshop for national actors on the new flood forecasting and early warning platform, developed under the project “Real-time Mapping of Flood Risk in Mali” financed by the Adaptation Fund through the AFCIA program.
The ECOWAS Water Resources Management Centre (WRMC) held the 12th ordinary session of the Technical Committee of Experts (TCE) of the Permanent Framework for Coordination and Monitoring of IWRM in West Africa (PFCM/IWRM-WA). The meeting took place on 9 July 2025 in Dakar, Senegal.
Beginning on 8 September 2025, Nepal witnessed widespread protests and demonstrations, primarily organised by Gen Z students and youth. Lomé, November 11, 2025 – The Regional Initiative for Water and Environment in the Transboundary Mono River Basin (RIWE-Mono) project has reached a decisive milestone with the official launch of the Transboundary Diagnostic Analysis (TDA) and Strategic Action Programme (SAP) process.
