GWP-Central Africa (GWP-CAf) is happy to present its 2021 Activity report (french only), highlighting key achievements from its activities geared at ensuring water security at the regional and country level (Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Sao Tomé and Principe, and Chad).
Zambian Youth representatives from Government agencies, private sector, civil society organizations, academic and research institutions, cooperating partners, and the media convened in Lusaka, Zambia on 31 July 2023 for a Youth Dialogue on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6 on Clean Water and Sanitation. The Dialogue was organised by the Global Water Partnership (GWP) Zambia.
New Zero Drop program launched in Schmatari, Tanagra Municipality, eliminates losses in the Municipality's Kallithea Water Treatment Plant and creates a replicable model for upgrading Municipal infrastructure which saves water and energy.
The Regional Initiative for Water and Sanitation in the Mono cross-border basin (RIWE-Mono) aims to restore ecosystems, improve the living conditions of people living along the river and promote concerted, sustainable management of natural resources, while strengthening cross-border cooperation between the two countries (Benin and Togo) that share this watercourse.
In April 2023, the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) issued an Open Call to Caribbean Journalists, Content Creators, Media Practitioners, and other interested persons to produce a high-quality 5-minute video on Integrated Water and Wastewater Management (IWWM).
At the 5th Joint Plenary of Horizon 2020 REXUS and LENSES PRIMA in Larisa, Greece GWP-Med leader of Communication and Dissemination Work Package organised interviews with major national and key local media featuring the project's innovative methods and tools under development.
