Ghana: WACDEP supported Talk show held

The Ghana Country Water Partnership (CWP-Ghana) supported Mr. Yussif Rahmani (one of the participants in the Media training workshop held in September, 2014) from Quality FM in the Garu Tempane District to host a talk show in the Tampizua I community in the Kusaal language. This was a follow-up to an earlier show held in December 2014 in English at the premises of the radio station where it was recommended to organise one in the local dialect to disseminate widely the information to peasant farmers.

Ivory Coast: Improving business climate and agricultural production

    The CWP Ivory Coast was asked to get involved in the World Bank project on "Improving the Business Climate in Agriculture in Côte d’Ivoire. The project focuses on laws and regulations that govern the activity and the actors of the agricultural sector in 40 countries, including Côte d'Ivoire.

    Workshop on Groundwater Development and Utilization in Jinghui Canal Irrigation Area was taken place in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province. The workshop was sponsored by the GWP China Shaanxi, co-sponsored by Shaanxi Provincial Water Resources Department,Shaanxi Provincial Hydraulic Engineering Society and Shaanxi Provincial Irrigation Systems Association on June 22, 2011.
