Nine countries from the Mediterranean and a plethora of partners have joined forces in one programme that aims to reduce major transboundary environmental stresses in the Mediterranean coastal areas, strengthen climate resilience and water security and improve the health and livelihoods of coastal populations.

Last week marked the end of Danube Art Master 2022 environmental arts competition. Many new and astonishing artworks were submitted, and 8 of them made it all the way to the end.
On 17 May 2024, the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) represented by the Focal Point of the CREWS Project and GWP SEA through the GWP Cambodia organised the Alignment and Kick-off Meeting on the Cambodia Drought Management Action Plan (Component 1 of the CREWS Project) at Sunway Hotel, Phnom Penh City.
More than 60 stakeholders who attended the side-event "Gender Dynamics and the WEFE Nexus in the Mediterranean" co-organised by the UfM, AECID, GWP-Med and CAWTAR acknowledged that gender mainstreaming is the primary tool for attaining gender equality and redistributing power and influence in natural resources management.
