Participants in the 1st Multi-Stakeholders Consultation Meeting on the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus organised on the framework of the "GEF/UNEP MedProgramme: Enhancing Environmental Security", acknowledged the need for a better integration of approaches related to the four sectors, including through the establishment of a systematic dialogue among the relevant actors.
In commemoration of World Water Day 2024 and to support the 10th World Water Forum, GWP Indonesia is holding a series of activities through the 5th Indonesian Water Forum. Clearly, there is a lot riding on the 27th Conference of the Parties (COP27) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) this 6–18 November. It marks the 30th anniversary of the Convention’s adoption, but also a new and difficult phase in global climate action.
