Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) is dedicated to promoting Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) as the preferred approach to water resources management in the region.
GWP's financing partners meet twice a year to engage in a strategic dialogue with GWP on the water priorities that need to be addressed, and the criteria for providing financial assistance.
The Global Water Partnership has several Patrons. The Sponsoring Partners may invite persons of high public stature and influence to take on the role of Patron.
GWP is a large and multi-layered global network with an intergovernmental organisation at its core, the Global Water Partnership Organisation (GWPO). GWPO is the formal, legal representative for the entire global network.
The GWP Technical Committee consists of internationally recognised professionals selected for their experience in different disciplines relating to integrated water resources management.
The GWP Network comprises 13 Regional Water Partnerships. A Regional Water Partnership is comprised of all GWP Partners in a region. Representatives of Partners in a region may be a member of the regional Steering Committee (or equivalent).
GWP currently has 77 accredited Country Water Partnerships - listed to the right - that provide a neutral, multi-stakeholder platform for facilitating improvements in the way water resources are managed.
