Frequently Asked Questions

So what’s new about our website?

A lot!

First, we’ve introduced what we think are some pretty robust search features, integrating regional and global content in one centralised place: for knowledge, for news, events, and Partners (coming soon). When you’re an organisation like we are that deals with a lot of knowledge resources, we want to make it easy for people to find what they’re looking for. So try it out by going here.

You’ll also notice that everything related to knowledge (global and regional) is now in one place called LEARN. In addition, that’s where you will find our flagship knowledge database, the GWP IWRM ToolBox. Don’t know what IWRM is? Then go to LEARN and find out!

Second, we’ve simplified the structure of the site. If you look at the top of the home page you will find ABOUT, WE ACT, LEARN, PARTNER, and GWP REGIONS. Click on any of those and you’ll find a drop-down menu which will take you to what you are looking for.  We Act is about what we do to improve water management. Learn, as we said above, is where you will find lots of quality material about water resources management. Partner is about how we do our work – through a diverse, multi-stakeholder partnership.

And did we mention that we now have a responsive web design? This means you can browse our website with ease on any device (mobile, tablet etc.).

There’s more, but a lot of it is in the technology behind the site so we won’t bore you that information. Poke around the site and let us know what you think by emailing us at gwp@gwp.org.
