7 Man Technical Team Visit to Mt. Granby & Installation of Infrastructure

In a collaborative effort to ensure the integrity and reliability of essential water infrastructure, GWP-C teamed up with Daniel and Daniel Engineering Inc. to conduct a comprehensive site inspection at the intake structure/dam and transmission/Distribution mains located in Mt. Granby, St. John. The seven-man technical team, assembled by Daniel and Daniel Engineering Inc., carried out the inspection under the expert guidance of retiree Michael “Freshy” Fleming.

Tanzania launches response strategies to help solve major challenges to water resources management

Tanzania has launched response strategies that will support the country in resolving the country’s three major barriers to water resources management. Launched during the 2024 National Multi-Stakeholder Forum (NMSF) on 11th and 12th February, the strategies were developed under the Global Water Leadership Programme (GWL) which the Global Water Partnership Tanzania was implementing in collaboration with the Government of Tanzania. The GWL programme, a global initiative to support emerging leadership for improved water, sanitation and hygiene services, and climate resilience, is being implemented in various countries including Tanzania.

Mekrou 2 strengthens capacities of stakehlders for IWRM implementation

As part of the implementation of the Mekrou phase 2 Niger project's capacity-building plan, a training course on the manufacture and use of improved stoves was held on Thursday and Friday 6 and 7 April 2023 in Belandè. The two-day course brought together some 20 participants from Boumba, Falmey and Belandè.
