National Consultations on Water in the Post-2015 Development Agenda–phase II

Country Water Partnerships organized the national consultations in Bulgaria, Romania and Slovenia between 18-21 March 2014 in Sofia, Bucharest and Ljubljana while dates are pending for Poland.

Representatives of Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Environment and Agriculture, pubic administration on different levels, research institutions, media, civil society, media and private sector took part in the consultations.

National Consultations on Water in the Post-2015 Development Agenda–phase II in Romania

Participants reflected on presentations about Water Challenges and Sustainable Development – Post 2015 and national priorities comprising water and sanitation, water pollution, irrigation, wastewater treatment, status of water resources and water related risks including climate change.

National Consultations on Water in the Post-2015 Development Agenda–phase II in Bulgaria

Country Water Partnerships will summarize recommendations from the National Consultations into country reports. They will give an overview of opinions of the participating countries on the future development agenda with a focus water resources management, including risks management, water supply and sanitation and water quality.
