Lessons and recommendations were drawn from the implementation of activities during the 1st half of 2018 and an operational work plan for the rest of the year developed.
A performance evaluation mechanism and the organizational framework of the 2nd session of the Steering Committee scheduled for 17 and 18 October 2018 in Ouagadougou were also discussed for ownership by the staff.
The overall performance of the activities is judged to be good and the GWP-WA should be able to produce satisfactory results by the end of the year. A year end assessment and new year planning session will be organized later in the year to assess the results of the mid-term outlook. The staff expressed satisfaction.
