To strengthen its network, RECOJAC applied for and obtained special funding from GWP Global Youth Support Program to support one of its partner organizations, PIVJET International, in the execution of a COVID 19 sensitization campaign for youths

The Summer School „Towards 2030 Agenda: A summer school for climate change, innovation and youth advocacy in water management“ will take place on 1- 6 July 2018 at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Warsaw, Poland.

Following the SADC Water Week Conference held at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe, Malawi from the 13-15 May, 2015, the Malawi National Youth Water Network (MNYWN) was formed on the 14^th of May, 2015. The setting up of the Network was in line with the SADC program for the African Minister’s Council on Water (AMCOW) Policy and Strategy on Mainstreaming Youth in the Water and Sanitation Sector through the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development, Water Aid and Malawi Water Partnership.

Conakry, the capital of Guinea, hosted the official launch ceremony of the 22nd International Congress and Exhibition of the African Water and Sanitation Association (AfWAS), which will take place in Conakry from February 18 to 22, 2024.

The Regional Climate Weeks 2021 starts on 3-4 March with “Virtual Regional Roundtables” for all regions that are holding climate weeks in 2021. The regions are Africa (ACW2021), Asia-Pacific and Latin America (APCW2021) and the Caribbean (LACCW2021). The initial roundtables in March will set the scene in terms of regional priorities, challenges and opportunities for climate action.

GWP has committed to “building a water secured world” via its unique property--multiple-stakeholders participation (MSP). Over twenty years, the diverse network of GWP has depended on MSP that helps GWP promote its vision and missions, and set up partnerships with different organisations from 84 countries. WWF8 appears a festival to GWP and all concerning water issues who gathered in Brazil which is the 5th largest country with 85% vegetation, to exchange theories, practical lessons and achievements and develop networking.
