The water sector actors gathered on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 for a workshop to internalize and appropriate of the elaboration process of the National Adaptation Plan to Climate Change (NAP). This meeting was organized with the technical support of the Directorate General of Environment and Climate in the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MCVDD).

Jharkhand is a new state, established in 2000, to support the rights of indigenous people to have a separate state for themselves. Jharkhand is home to many of the country’s poorest people, despite the city being located in one of the richest areas of India in terms of minerals and natural resources. GWP China’s host institution, the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR), celebrated its 60th anniversary with a week of academic sessions in Beijing, China. On 18 October, an international high-level forum was held on the topic of Modern Water Governance and Technological Innovation. Around 1000 guests were invited, including GWP representatives from its worldwide network.

The 2022 network meeting was held earlier compared to the previous session. The meeting was held after the event of Regional Days with a hybrid format. The Regional Chairs, Regional Coordinators, Regional Communications Officers, Regional programme managers and GWP Global Secretariat staff who are in Stockholm participated according to the topics discussed in the breakout group session.
