At its core, the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) is a knowledge sharing Network.

The national meeting to validate and launch the Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) in Ghana for ‘no/low’ regrets investments to increase access to water and sustainable development was held on 11^th July, 2013 at Erata Hotel in Accra. The meeting was organised by the Ghana Country Water Partnership (G-CWP) in collaboration with the National Level Learning Alliance Platform (NLLAP) of the Resource Centre Network under the Ministry of Water Resources, Works and Housing.

India Water Partnership (Global Water Partnership India), in association with Brainwiz - a students’ organization located in New Delhi - is organizing a session on "Combating Deseretification and Issues of Water Security" during  Brainwiz Model United Nations (MUN) Conference 2013 at TERI University, New Delhi on 5-6 October 2013.

The Second workshop of the Integrated Drought Management Programme in Central and Eastern Europe was held on 8-9 April in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The integrated dispatching of the Yellow River water resources should be based on the strictest water management system. The optimal approach must be implemented from the main streams to the tributaries; from the areas of the river basin to areas beyond the basin to strengthen the system construction and the weak link in infrastructures; and also to promote the "Yellow River" legislation.

As capacity-building support to its Partner organisations, the Global Water Partnership (GWP) together with the University of Dundee, will offer scholarships for 30 participants to undertake a module in International Water Law, in Dundee from June 9^th - 20^th, 2014.

In partnership with the Council for Caribbean Science and Technology (CCST), Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) received a grant from the Perez-Guerrero Trust Fund (PGTTF) to finance a Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) project for the Caribbean.

GWP Eastern Africa (GWPEAf) is one of 13 regional networks that make up GWP, an international network that was created in 1996 to foster implementation of integrated water resources management: the coordinated development and management of water, land, and related resources that maximises economic and social welfare without compromising the sustainability of ecosystems and the environment

Global Water Partnership – Eastern Africa (GWP-EAf) will be hosting the 5th Water, Climate and Development Programme for Africa (WACDEP) Technical Coordination Workshop. The workshop will be held in Kigali, Rwanda from 23–28 September 2013.
