H.M. King Letsie III of Lesotho said that it is critical for world leaders to make a concerted effort to secure Africa’s water supply and mitigate all factors that jeopardise water and its sources. H.M. Letsie III was addressing the International High-Level Panel for Water Investments in Africa Event during on World Water Week in Stockholm, Sweden on 30th August.
In line with Article VI of its Constitution, the Global Water Partnership Southern Africa (GWPSA) convened its 15th Consulting Partners (CP) Meeting on 20 June 2025. Dr Reba Paul joined during the inception of Global Water Partnership South Asia (GWP SAS) as a volunteer in 1998 and worked through 1999 and engaged in various capacities to formulate the South Asia Technical Advisory Committee (SASTAC). She worked twelve years (1998-2010) at GWP South Asia and then moved to Sydney, Australia and carried out her Doctoral Research on Energy Sensitive Urban Water Planning in Developing Countries. At present she is employed as a full-time Adjunct Research Fellow of Institute for Sustainable Futures.
