On December 18, 2025, the Global Water Partnership in West Africa (GWP-WA) and its Country Water Partnerships (CWP) held a training and coordination meeting entirely online.
On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, a high-level virtual meeting brought together representatives of the Country Water Partnerships (CWPs) from West Africa and the Chair of the Regional Water Partnership (GWP-WA).
As the world faces the challenges of climate change, population growth, and urbanisation, GWP’s 2022 Network Meeting of Partners centred around the question, 'how can we push innovation in water?' “You will get some ideas from us, but what is more important is the voice from our Partners,” said GWP’s Executive Secretary and CEO Darío Soto-Abril, as more than 320 participants joined from 95 countries.
In accordance with the Articles of the GWP China and with the approval of the Ministry of Water Resources, the 5th Regional Partners Meeting of the Global Water Partnership (GWP China) are scheduled to be held in Beijing on the afternoon of December 28, 2025, in a combined online and offline format.
Between December 2025 and January 2026, Global Water Partnership Hungary (GWP Hungary) actively contributed to national and international water governance processes, with a strong focus on youth engagement and regional cooperation in the Danube River Basin.
