During the 2nd Pinios Pilot Technical Workshop organised in the framework of the Horizon 2020 REXUS project, whereby GWP-Med is leading the Communication Work Package, local media featured interviews and articles by the projects partners and highlighted the participatory process of designing a sustainable future for the basin.

Kenneth Alfaro Alvarado is Project Cooridinator for Water Pollution Prevention at Nicoya Peninsula Waterkeeper in Costa Rica. The non-profit organisation has been a GWP Partner since 2013 - their motivation to join the GWP network was a wish to participate in the processes around Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM). The 2021 edition of the United Nations Climate Change Conference - also known as COP26 - takes place in Glasgow, United Kingdom, from 31 October to 12 November. The event brings countries together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. As in previous years, GWP will be active at the COP to bring water insights to the climate agenda.

The report "Mobilising Change: 10 years of climate resilient water investments" will be launched on 2 June at an event coinciding with GWP's Regional Days; a week-long gathering of GWP staff from all regions. The launch event is part of the celebrations around GWP 25 years and it is open to the public - streamed live on GWP's Facebook page.
