Thirty-five stakeholders from state institutions, civil society organizations, parastatals, Research institutions and the private sector identified processes, actors, and information systems involved in the development of policies, laws, and projects at the national and local levels in the water and climate sector which can serve as entry points for gender.

CWP Benin has just released a new film on its work aiming at processing invasive aquatic plants, the water jacinth. The CWP is planning to collaborate with a Nigerian entrepeneur that is developing and promoting green energy and biofuel, SMEFUNDS. The aim is the production and marketing of ethanol gel.
The Masungi Georeserve was announced winners of the Water ChangeMaker Awards in a ceremony at the Climate Adaptation Summit on 25 January. February 21, 2022, Global Water Development, a youth capacity building programme, was initiated in Beijing. Hosted by the Department of Water of Tsinghua University and supported by GWP China and GWP WAY, the programme manages to help undergraduate students of Tsinghua explore their knowledge and related tools.
GWP and the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) launched a new Perspectives Paper, “Storing Water: A new integrated approach for resilient development." The launch took place in a webinar on 24 February, gathering about 300 people for what is to be the start of a broad cross-sector dialogue on water storage.
