The report "Mobilising Change: 10 years of climate resilient water investments" will be launched on 2 June at an event coinciding with GWP's Regional Days; a week-long gathering of GWP staff from all regions. The launch event is part of the celebrations around GWP 25 years and it is open to the public - streamed live on GWP's Facebook page.
GWP Eastern Africa and four riparian countries – Djibouti, Kenya, Sudan, and Uganda – have received funding from the Adaptation Fund through the Sahara and Sahel Observatory (OSS) to implement the project on “Strengthening Drought Resilience for Smallholder Farmers and Pastoralists in the IGAD Region” - the DRESS-EA project. A formal launch of the project takes place online on 6 October.

Since its beginning in 1974, World Environment Day has developed into a global platform for raising awareness and taking action on urgent issues from marine pollution and global warming to sustainable consumption and wildlife crime. The day is celebrated annually on 5 June, and the 2021 edition calls for urgent action to revive our damaged ecosystems.
For the first time since the establishment of the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) in 2004, Belize has now become an official Partner country of the GWP-C. It is well-known that Belize is a country based in Central America but has maintained strong ties to the Caribbean, as part of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). Mainly due to the country’s geographical location, it fell under the GWP Central America Partnership.
