The 2-day Capacity Building Workshop is organised in the context of the SEE Nexus Project that is supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and implemented by GWP-Med in partnership with the UNECE.

Climate Week NYC 2020 is held 21-27 September, composed of hundreds of digital events from around the world, as well as some physical events in New York City, USA. The week is hosted by the Climate Group, in association with the United Nations and the City of New York.

The Water ChangeMaker Awards closed its submissions on 14 June – with 350+ individuals and groups from over 80 countries having submitted their personal experiences on how they have influenced water decisions that build climate resilience. Since that time, all submitted projects have undergone eligibility and verification screening.

GWP Partners are invited to the Annual Network Meeting of GWP Partners 2020, which takes place online on 21-22 October, under the theme ‘Bringing the Change’. This is an opportunity when Partners can learn from each other and exchange ideas with GWP. The Lanka Rain Water Harvesting Forum (LRWHF) promotes and fosters research and development in Sri Lanka by disseminating and sharing experiences on rainwater harvesting technology, conservation and utilization methods for solving the water problems of the nation. Dr. Tanuja Ariyananda, CEO of LRWHF, shares an overview of the organisation and its collaboration with GWP.

The International Water Association (IWA) is organising the first IWA Digital Water Summit - the original dates were set to 27-30 April in Bilbao, Spain, however due to the worldwide Corinavirus crisis new dates have been announced: 30 November - 3 December. The event is designed to bring together water technology providers and water utilities with a focus on business and industry.
