The 11th INBO World General Assembly is held under the framework of the "Marrakech International Summit on Water Security for a participative and innovative basin management". This is organised 30 September to 3 October, in Marrakesh, Morocco.
GWP held its annual Network Meeting on 25-26 June 2019. Following last year’s success, the meeting was held in a Follow the Sun format – a 29-hour long, online meeting of back-to-back sessions with all GWP regions. A big topic was the new GWP Strategy 2020-2025, which is due to be launched shortly – the meeting adopted the network's new strategic directions.
Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) is 1 of 13 Regional Water Partnerships of the Global Water Partnership (GWP). Each year, GWP (the global network) holds its Network Meeting; an opportunity to engage its over 3000 partner organisations in more than 180 countries across the globe.
29 hours of the GWP Network Meeting 2019 attracted an audience of 10,000 and 2500 views of the Facebook site, as well as nearly 400 readers of the thematic report on GWP WeChat. Big L♥ve to all for arriving the great success of this event.
The 14th UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP14) takes place 2-13 September at the India Expo Center and Mart, in New Delhi, India. GWP is represented and play an active role during the second week of the event.

GWP is strongly positioned at Stockholm World Water Week (WWW) 2019 through its involvement in more than 30 events, as well as a launch of its new strategy and other publications. WWW takes place 25-30 August, with this year's theme being "Water for society - Including all".
GWP Bhutan under its Core activities conducted an Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) sensitisation programme in Punakha Dzongkhag (District) for Instructors and Facilitators working at Non-formal Education (NFE) and Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD).
