Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) is a global platform for accelerating the world’s sustainable development. At the heart of ADSW is the World Future Energy Summit, and The Water Forum, which brings the global water industry together to tackle the challenges of water scarcity. The dates for this are 13-16 January 2020.

The Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) is inviting all its Partners to join the 2019 Global Water Partnership (GWP) Annual Network Meeting.

The case study was developed as part of the global Water, Climate and Development Programme (WACDEP) that was formally introduced in 2014 in the Southeast Asia Region, and finalized by the second quarter of 2018.

As one of the GWP-SEA country members, Malaysia Water Partnership has been committed to supporting the implementation of WACDEP. Several activities were carried out to support the country’s commitment to addressing the issues of floods and climate change resilience. One of the activities during the first phase of WACDEP is ‘Community flood-proofing and adaptation for climate resilience’ that was done through the demonstration project. This World Water Day, 22nd March, is about tackling the water crisis by addressing the reasons why so many people are being left behind. GWP joins the worldwide celebrations of the day, and shows online support on its newly launched Instagram account.

The African Climate Risks Conference (ACRC) is an open platform for sharing the latest African climate research among researchers, policy makers, practitioners and development partners. ACRC 2019 will be held 7-9 October in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
