With the technical support of the GWP-CAf, Experts, Directors and representatives of LCBC member states received training on IWRM for better implementation of the Lake Chad Basin Water Charter. The participants made recommendations to advance transboundary cooperation in the Lake Chad Basin.

LIMNOS is committed to the development and deployment of nature-based solutions for wastewater treatment and mitigation of pollution. It also serves as host institution of GWP Slovenia since the establishment of a country office in 2001. This interview describes the company and its partnership with GWP. 

“Water in our region – where 98% consists of desert – means much more than anywhere else. It is an interesting subject, with an interesting expert community – and it is also the subject of interest to various players. In celebration of International Women's Day (IWD2020) she shares the story of the females in her family, which shaped her own destiny: “I am part of my family”.

The United Nations World Water Day (WWD) is observed annually on March 22nd. This year's theme is: Water and Climate Change. One of the ways the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) will be commemorating the Day, is through the launch of its WWD Photo Contest.

GWP-Cmr is looking for a production studio or producer/director to produce a documentary film in High Definition (HD) on fluorosis in Cameroon, highlighting its origins, impacts, partner’s involvement and potential remediation options with a focus on communities within the Mayo-Tsanaga Sub-Basin.

On Wednesday, September 05, 2018, the CWP was received by the Director General of the Ivorian water supply company (SODECI), which is the national platform of the GWP network.
