March 22, 2022, UN World Water Development Report 2022 “Groundwater - making the invisible visible” was launched at the opening ceremony of the 9th World Water Forum in Dakar, Senegal. GWP China facilitated the launching of the Executive Summary of the Report in Chinese.
As part of the implementation of the Governance component of the OmiDelta program (VGO) ANE Fund, CWP-Benin will support young people to help stakeholders (municipalities, civil society, managers, etc.) in the collection of information on the management of the Public Water Service (PWS) that can enable them to improve the service provided to the population.

A Learning exchange on gender mainstreaming in water resources management (WRM) was organised on September 16th, 2021, to present the findings of the study on that topic. The event was also used as a platform to better understand and discuss how to advance on the key enablers and overcome common bottlenecks for gender mainstreaming in WRM, for those working on SDG 6.5 and SDG 5; and to understand the need for support from national governments and other stakeholders to advance in this key area for sustainable development.
