Global Water Partnership Caribbean (GWP-C) in coordination with the National Council for Climate Change and Clean Development Mechanism of the Dominican Republic (CNCCMDL) and funded by the NDC Partnership, are developing a portfolio of bankable investments to finance climate change projects in the Dominican Republic (DR). The consultancy is being carried out by the company Viridia Projects.
International Women’s Day (IWD) is observed on March 8th each year. It is a day dedicated to celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women across the globe.
GWP Partners are invited to the Annual Network Meeting of GWP Partners 2020, which takes place online on 21-22 October, under the theme ‘Bringing the Change’. This is an opportunity when Partners can learn from each other and exchange ideas with GWP. As part of the Network Meeting, the Partners have the opportunity to comment on the GWP in Action 2019 Annual Report and the GWP Annual Financial Report 2019.

In GWP’s ongoing collaboration with the World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW) to boost youth voices from across the globe, we asked young people to define what youth leadership looks like in the water sector.
GWP supported Cameroon in creating its first National Adaptation Plan for Climate Change (NAPCC), a strategic intervention comprised of 20 adaptation programmes.
The Programme is unique, flexible and demand driven, operating without a steering committee, and unlike a typical programme with a fixed results framework, hard-wired deliverables and so on.
