The Green Climate Fund (GCF) was established in 2012 as a financial mechanism of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), dedicated to addressing the climate crisis. The GCF is specifically mandated to promote country-driven, climate-resilient and low-carbon development. GWP is hosting a Pan-Asia Regional training on Water Governance, International Water Law and Multi-Stakeholder Processes together with partner organisations. The training takes place in Kunming, China, 13-15 December 2018.

The partners of the Country Water Partnership (CWP) of Côte d’Ivoire held an Assembly on 26 July, which elected Dr. KOFFI Bruno as the new chair person. Dr. KOFFI Bruno is taking over Mr. NDRI Koffi as the chair of the CWP.
