Benin, continued support for the implementation of the integrity action plans of the Communes

In the framework of the implementation of the activities of the integrity action plans in the Communes, a workshop to strengthen the capacities of communal actors was organized and brought together about forty actors. Participants include water, hygiene and sanitation managers, members of the Drinking Water Consumers' Associations (ACEP), those of the Citizen Participation Unit (CPC), the Heads of Development and Planning Services (C/SDLP), the Heads of Communication Services (C/com) and the Heads of Administration and Finance.

The Tisza Office

The Tisza Office of the Middle Tisza Water Directorate (KÖTIVIZIG) was ceremonially inaugurated on 4 November 2014. Five countries are represented under its mandate: Ukraine, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Serbia. The Tisza Office team - consisting of Judit Palatinus, Melinda Váci and György Rátfai - present the scope of their work and collaboration with GWP.

GWP-WA supports CWP Senegal for more action and visibility

The Chair of GP-WA, Prof. Amadou H. MAIGA and the Executive Secretary, Mr. Armand HOUANYE visited Senegal from 16 to 21 Novembre 2020 to support the Country Water Partnership (CWP) that is engaging new actions for a renewed dynamism. The chair of CWP Senegal, Dr. Adrien COLY invited the regional leadership to back the CWP in its efforts for consolidating the actions he has started with his team to strengthen the partnership, build new alliances and engage new fund-raising initiatives.

Our digital library is an online database of digital objects that can include text, still images, audio, video, digital documents, or other digital media formats. The collection will consists of in-house library (GWP global, region, and country water partnerships), as well as a copy of free-access media from the internet for the region of Southeast Asia. GWP-CAf and ECCAS assess implementation of SDG 6.5.1 in Central Africa

GWP Central Africa (GWP-CAf) supports the monitoring and implementation of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) in the sub-region. To ensure progress in IWRM, GWP-CAf has been supporting states since 2018 in the monitoring of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) indicator 6.5.1, and is providing further support in identifying obstacles hindering, and key activities required to accelerate IWRM implementation in the short (2021), medium (2025) and long (2030) term in Central Africa.
