GWP is coordinating the work behind a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on the topic of “Governance for Transboundary Freshwater Security.” The MOOC, which is currently under development with Partners, is set to launch in 2020. While it is primarily targeted at practitioners and stakeholders, it is also open for all who are interested in these issues. You can already now sign up for the course.
Our digital library is an online database of digital objects that can include text, still images, audio, video, digital documents, or other digital media formats. The collection will consists of in-house library (GWP global, region, and country water partnerships), as well as a copy of free-access media from the internet for the region of Southeast Asia. We will keep updating our collection for your need.

2020 proved to be a difficult year for people worldwide, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the cascading effects this brought to every aspect of life, both personal and professional. While 2021 may not seem that different to 2020, there are glimmers of hope that show a light at the end of a dark tunnel. The Global Water Partnership-Mediterranean is seeking to hire a company for the Preparation of an Assessment on the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus in Albania in the framework of the ADA-supported Project “Promoting the Sustainable Management of Natural Resources in Southeastern Europe, through the use of Nexus approach”.
Two days online training on Integrated Drought Management was organized for the participants from four Drin basin countries (Albania, Kosovo*, Montenegro and North Macedonia) with the goal to enhance the capacity for integrated, proactive approach to drought planning, adaptation and management.
