A four-member delegation of the Mono Basin Authority (MBA) had a working visit to the GWP-WA Regional Secretariat on March 17, 2021 including the Executive Director, Mr. Nicolas Dadja GNAKPAOU, the Deputy Director, Mr. Razaki SANOUSSI, the two country Focal Points, Mr. Phillipe Armand ADJOMAYI and Mr. Wohou AKAKPO respectively for Benin and Togo.

Since the end of June 2019, the Global Water Partnership for West Africa is implementing in collaboration with the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the Volta Basin Authority (VBA) the project "Integrating Flood and Drought Management and Early Warning for Climate Change Adaptation in the Volta Basin " (VFDM).
As a 32-year-old raised and living in Tunisia and a GWP-Med team member working on its MENA agenda, Dr Sondos Njoumi has a unique insight into youth and women’s mindset in relation to sustainability efforts for environmental and water issues.
